How we handle the personal data of business contacts, clients and website visitors.
1. Who is responsible
Vikingleads.nl is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this policy. For questions about this policy or about your data, you can contact us at info@vikingleads.nl. Complete the full company details here before going live (registered address, Chamber of Commerce number).
2. What personal data we process
We process three categories of data. First, business contact details of DMU members at organisations within our target groups: name, job title, organisation, business email address and publicly available professional profile information. Second, data of clients and their contacts: name, business contact details, billing details and correspondence. Third, data of website visitors: technical data such as IP address and browser information, and — only with consent — statistics and marketing data via cookies.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process business contact data on behalf of clients to establish relevant commercial contact between organisations. The legal basis for this is legitimate interest: business outreach to roles for which the offer is demonstrably relevant. We process client data for the performance of the agreement. Website statistics and marketing cookies are processed solely on the basis of consent, which you can give, change or withdraw via the cookie banner.
4. How we obtain data
We collect business contact data ourselves from public and corporate sources, such as company websites, trade registers, industry associations, job postings and professional networks. We do not purchase ready-made database lists. Every record is manually verified for accuracy and relevance before use.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We never sell personal data to third parties. We only share data with clients for whom we run campaigns (qualified leads and campaign reporting) and with processors that support us, such as email infrastructure, CRM and hosting providers, with whom we have concluded data processing agreements. Where possible, processors process data within the EU/EEA.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses necessary cookies for the site to function and, with consent, analytical and marketing cookies. Read more in our cookie policy at /cookies. You can adjust your preferences at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
7. Retention periods
We retain campaign data for as long as necessary to carry out the assignment, and thereafter for as long as legal administrative obligations require. Contacts who have opted out are immediately excluded from further outreach; we retain only what is necessary to honour the opt-out.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access control, encrypted connections and limiting data to the necessary minimum.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can submit a request via info@vikingleads.nl; we respond within four weeks. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
